In September 2007, Limelight sponsored the Women Run the Twin Cities event, providing publicity services to benefit the race being hosted by Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women and benefiting the Ann Bancroft Foundation.

Limelight Generations was founded in 2002 as a public relations company, Limelight Communications. Since then, we've conducted ongoing research on Generations X, Y, and Z and how these generations are spurring dramatic changes in the workplace, economy, and our communities.

A Gen Xer herself, Sarah Sladek, president and CEO, has authored two books and numerous articles and given presentations on the topic of generational recruitment, retention, and marketing nationwide.

As the demand for our expertise in generational marketing increased, it became evident that few companies in the United States were equipping business, association, industry, and community leaders for the emergence of the next generation. So, in late 2007 the company name was changed to Limelight Generations to further our dedication to this area of expertise.
